Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis has an opening for a full-time Communications faculty position in the School of Communications, in the College of Arts and Humanities. The position begins fall semester, 2024. 

Responsibilities include teaching courses in Communications, with an emphasis on teaching Video Production classes in our Broadcast Media Program, as well as an opportunity to lead the Broadcast Media Program into its next chapter. 

A doctorate in Communications or a related discipline is preferred. A master’s degree would be considered, especially if the candidate has significant experience in Broadcast Media and/or Video Production. Pay and rank are commensurate with credentials and experience, within the University’s salary structure. 

An ability to teach a variety of courses across our Communications curriculum would be a plus. The School of Communications offers four majors: Journalism, Broadcast Media, Public Relations and Communications Studies.
